Ceiling Design
You’ve probably heard the saying before “The ceiling is the fifth wall”. At Villa Inspired we believe that the ceiling is the first wall! We can create custom designs using hand painted and ornate moldings to beautifully transform this often neglected space.
Faux Finishes
We provide a vast array of faux finishes from wall glazes, faux stone, marble, wood graining, aged crackle, painted and raised stencil, metallic finishes, reactive metal finishes, treatments for foam crown and artisan plasters.
Fine Artisan Finishes
Our timeless collection of artisan finishes include polished and matte slaked lime venetian plasters, clay plaster, metallic plaster and gold leaf gilding. Our antique finishes are meticulously applied to represent that of olde world.
Cabinetry Finishes and Painting
Due to the high residential demand, our business has expanded and is now offering interior painting and solid color kitchen cabinetry finishes along with our traditional glazed and antiqued finishes.
OUR PROCESS
We will meet you in person at your home or business to go over your ideas for the project and determine the scope of work. Things we will go over are areas to be finished, the type of finish desired and Color palette preferences. We will also take some snapshots of the space and measure the square footage for use in the estimate.
After we have taken all the information gathered at the initial meeting, we follow up with examples, design sketches and custom samples. This follow up is very important us. It’s an opportunity for us to go over any questions you may have, to establish the scope of work for the project and to fine tune details for the final contract.
Before any work begins we will have you ok final designs, paint colors and finish samples. There may be a fee for custom samples that we are happy to deduct from the project if we go forward. This fee will depend on the type of sample you want and if products need to be purchased.
We will submit to you a detailed proposal which contains the scope of work, rooms in which the work will be done, types of finishes to be provided, products to be used and time frame in which the work will be completed. A deposit is required to retain the work and secure a start date.
In preparation of the project we will take the utmost care to ensure that everything is properly covered and masked. We will also ensure that the area is kept tidy while the job is in process. We are flexible with finishes so if there is something you wish to change in the process we welcome your input.
